Email-specific actions from The First 14 Days Overview are outlined on this page. Utilize creating bulk emails, with certain specifications provided under each day below.

Day 1- Introduction Email
Send an introductory email introducing yourself as the student's mentor. Include the following information:
- Your contact information
- Your hours of availability
- Reasons to contact you
- Having trouble logging in
- Trouble with their device
- The importance of starting the 1st two weeks well and that you will be emailing them when you notice their hard work
Day 2- Congratulating Students who Started
- When narrowing down the students on the Current Enrollments page, specify:
- Attendance (Last 7 Days) is More than and 1 minute.
- Attendance (Last 7 Days) is More than and 1 minute.
- Once students are listed, search for the Language Arts (or Math) course in the search area.
An example email is:
Dear [STUDENT_FIRST_NAME],
I hope you are having a great day. I just wanted to send you a quick note congratulating you on getting started right away in [COURSE_NAME]. I noticed that you have a [GRADE_ACTUAL]% in the class. Nice job! I know this takes a lot of time and learning.

Day 3- Email Students Who Have Not Logged In
- When narrowing down the students on the Current Enrollments page, specify:
- Performance Indicator is set to S4.
- Performance Indicator is set to S4.
- In the list of students, click the Student header.
- Checkmark only the students who have an S4 indicator for all courses in which they are enrolled
- Send an email containing the following information:
- Invitation to reach out to you by phone or email for help logging in
- An urgency to start their courses
- An understanding of truancy if they do not start their courses
Day 5- Students who have Completed a Minimum of 4% in Math and Language Arts
- When narrowing down the students on the Current Enrollments page, specify:
- Percent Complete is More than and 4 percent.
- Percent Complete is More than and 4 percent.
- Once students are listed, search for the Language Arts (or Math) course in the search area.
An example email is:
Dear [STUDENT_FIRST_NAME],
I just wanted to let you know that I noticed that you are staying on pace [COURSE_NAME]. Getting a great start to the semester is setting you up for a great Spring Semester. I am so proud of you!

Day 11- Students who have Completed 1-5% in a Course
- When narrowing down the students on the Current Enrollments page, specify:
- Percent Complete is Less than and 6 percent.
- Percent Complete is Less than and 6 percent.
- Once students are listed, search for the Language Arts (or Math) course in the search area.
An example email is:
Dear [STUDENT_FIRST_NAME],
I just wanted to let you know that I noticed that started your work in [COURSE_NAME]. Great job! Make sure to keep up because a great start to the Semester will make the whole course easier. I am excited to look tomorrow and see you up to [PERCENT_EXPECTED]% in [COURSE_NAME].

Day 12- Students who have Completed 10% or More
- When narrowing down the students on the Current Enrollments page, specify:
- Percent Complete is More than and 10 percent.
An example email is:
Dear [STUDENT_FIRST_NAME],
I just wanted to let you know that I noticed that you are staying on pace [COURSE_NAME]. Getting a great start to the semester is setting you up for a great Spring Semester. I am so proud of you!
