Understanding Current Enrollment columns

The table explains important columns on the Current Enrollments display. It is not a complete list. To see steps for customizing your display, reference Setting up customized columns for Current Enrollments.

Column Explanation
Close Out

Identifies when a student's course can be closed out. 

The following are options you may see (please refer to the Close Out module that will review how to use this column): 

  • Close course at 100% complete permits early close out. 
  • Only close course after end date has been reached does not permit early close out. 
  • See Notes outlines any unique close out requirements. Refer to Impl Notes (Additional Implementation Instructions) column below.
Days Since Last - SMS, Email, Phone Call

These columns help you keep track of how long it has been since you attempted or used different types of communication with the student. 

  • SMS refers to text message. SMS through ILVP is logged. SMS through Google Voice is manually logged.
  • Email and Phone call are manually logged.
Days Since Last Teacher Contact Displays in your columns as "Last Contact" and tells you how many days it has been since you last contacted the student.
District The district the student's school is associated with.
Enrollment Start Date, Enrollment End Date Start and end dates of the course.
Grade Metric The grading measure the student's school district generally adheres to (actual, overall, relative).
Grade Actual (Value) Actual grade in the course. This is the overall grade adjusted for progress if a student is behind. This score doesn’t assume zeros for uncompleted work; it simply penalizes for falling behind. Shows the impact of pacing on the student’s course grade.
Grade Overall (Value) Overall grade in the course. This is the weighted average grade for completed activities based on the grade weights for each type of activity. Shows mastery of content and skills.
Grade Relative (Value) Relative grade in the course. This is the grade that a student would receive if they stopped working and received 0% for all unscored, counted activities.
Impl Notes (Additional Implementation Instructions) Provides further instruction or clarifies close out instructions.
LMS Link

Provides direct access to the student's individual course in the LMS.

  • Buzz lands on Grade Book.
  • Heritage Imagine Edgenuity lands on Scores & Activity.
  • EdgeEX lands on Grades).
Minimum Passing Grade Identifies the minimum value to which a school generally adheres for mastery.
Minimum Percent Complete The minimum value to which a school generally adheres for progress complete. This column instructs our close out process.
Needs Scoring, Review, Retake - Hours Open These columns indicate any actions required in the LMS by a teacher and how many hours ago it was submitted or has been pending.
Percent Complete As a percentage, shows how much the student has completed so far in their course.
Performance Indicator A quick, visual reference as to any interventions the student may need in their course.
School The school the student attends. 
Section The name of the course the student is enrolled in.
SE- IEP, 504, ELL These columns indicate if the student is designated as a special education student.
Teacher Cert Req Identifies the state certification required for the school. If you do not hold that state license, alert your supervisor immediately.
