Complete these steps to reset a student's password in the Imagine Learning Virtual Portal (ILVP).
- Click the Students tab.
- In the search box in the center of the page, type the student's name.
- Click the student's name.
- In the Basic Information section, click Reset Password.
- A confirmation message displays with a confirmation that the new temporary password was sent in email to the user. The temporary password displays in parentheses at the end of the confirmation message. When providing the password to students, do not include the parentheses as part of the password.
The temporary password expires after one day. The student must change their password after they use the temporary password to log in. Students can edit their passwords on their dashboard under Edit Account.
